This is surely a piece of investment that should be used and maintained with a great amount of care. One of the signature elements in most of his designs is the intricate details that include the use of gemstones. Most of the pieces are normally made of high quality sterling silver. But because this type of material can tarnish easily, it is very important to take some time in cleaning them properly. 

Same as with other types of silver accessories, you can use these easy steps in making sure that your David Yurman Bracelets are always at its best condition. 

1.With the use of a polishing cloth, clean the bracelet in a circular motion.  This piece of cloth comes along with the jewelry but in case yours is not available anymore, you can easily buy one. Use this to remove the tarnish on the metal. 

2.If the polishing cloth was not able to remove the tarnish, use a silver polish to do the work. Apply the paste using a damp cloth to the silver surface of the bracelet; avoid the gemstones or any other materials as it might cause damage. Once all traces of tarnish are removed, rinse the bracelet in clean water. 

3.Since it is also important to keep the gemstones looking shiny, you can clean it by preparing a mixture of water and a mild shampoo. Dip an old toothbrush in the solution and rub it gently to the gems. Rinse it with water and wipe gently with a clean cloth. 

Always remember that because of the sensitivity of this type of jewelry it is not advisable to use any chemical based cleaning solutions as this might affect the appearance and condition of the jewelry.
